August Program #2
Charles Mades has been elected to five terms as Sheriff of Washington County. Charley says it's time to retire and let someone younger take on the top law enforcement role. He talks about changes in the Sheriff's Department over the last 20 years, and challenges the incoming Sheriff will have to face.
This year's distribution by the Gaming Commission amounts to $2,884,489.46. Norman Bassett reports on where the money goes.

The Washington County-City of Hagerstown joint sewer interconnector line is dedicated. Commissioners' President Greg Snook, Hagerstown Mayor Bob Bruchey and Water Quality Department Director Greg Murray talk about the benefits to the community the project will provide.
Summer Recreation Programs were a great success this year., Recreation Manager Jaime Dick talks about the programs and upcoming offerings at "rec".
